
The Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty) demonstrated strong support for the Workshop on Climate Change and Institutional Solutions for Effective Climate Action organised by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Malaysia in collaboration with the Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) at Sheraton Hotel, Kuching. The workshop focused on strengthening climate governance, institutional collaboration, climate-related data management, and sustainable climate action initiatives in Sarawak.
Ts. Dr. Nurleyna Binti Yunus delivered the opening remarks for the workshop, while Dr. Kho Lip Khoon participated as a panellist in the Fireside Chat – Bridging Policies with Institutional Actions. Mdm Sharifah Mordiah binti Syeed Mohd Hussein also participated in the panel discussion on the Way Forward on the CCIA, focusing on institutional capacity, climate governance, transparency, and citizen engagement in climate policies.
