The Ministry is responsible for overseeing and implementing Sarawak’s policies on energy development, renewable energy initiatives, environmental and sustainability. It plays a key role in shaping Sarawak’s green economy and supporting the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.

The Minister is supported by a Deputy Minister, The Honourable Datuk Dr. Hazland Abang Hipni and our Permanent Secretary, The Honourable Datu Abang Ahmad Abang Morni with a team of senior officers and experts.
